Opener humming with no movement, remote that's stopped responding, or a keypad gone dead. We work on the chain, belt, and screw-drive systems still running in driveways today.
Chain, belt, and direct-drive systems, our technicians carry manufacturer-level training across the brands still common in driveways.
A stripped gear or failed capacitor is often a cheaper fix than a full opener swap, and we'll say so.
Smart-home compatible openers get proper network and app setup as part of the install.
A dead remote or unresponsive keypad is often a quick fix once the technician isolates the cause.
Each service below is handled by a technician trained specifically for this kind of repair, not a generalist guessing at it.
Stripped drive gears and worn motor bearings cause the classic humming-with-no-movement symptom. We replace the internal gear kit rather than the whole unit when possible.
We diagnose circuit-level failures using the same troubleshooting sequence manufacturers specify, not a blind parts swap.
Rolling-code security occasionally desyncs. We reprogram remotes and keypads and realign photo-eye sensors as needed.
A new opener install includes proper force and limit calibration, not just bolting the unit to the ceiling.
An opener that reverses too easily or closes with too much force usually needs a limit and force setting adjustment, not new parts.
A short description of the symptom helps us bring the right parts on the first trip.
Technicians arrive with common opener parts, gear kits, and capacitors already stocked.
We isolate the specific failed component, motor, gear, board, or sensor, then quote a flat repair price.
{The opener is repaired, force-tested, and covered by written warranty before we leave.|Every repair ends with a full function and safety test, confirmed working.}
“Opener was humming for weeks with no movement. Turned out to be a stripped gear, fixed in under an hour.”
“Installed battery backup on our existing opener. Worked through the last outage without a hitch.”
“Force setting was too aggressive and kept reversing on leaves in the driveway. Recalibrated it perfectly.”
This usually means an internal drive gear has stripped while the motor itself still runs fine, a same-visit repair in most cases.
We diagnose the specific failure first and only recommend replacement when repair genuinely isn't cost-effective.
We work on the major chain, belt, and screw-drive brands still common in driveways today, old and current models both.
Reprogramming takes minutes once the technician is on-site with the opener model confirmed.
We install battery backup systems that keep the door working during outages, either as an add-on or with a new unit.
We'll compare repair cost against replacement cost honestly, based on the opener's actual condition and age.
